About
Named the 'Takemitsu Memorial' after composer Toru Takemitsu, the main hall has a dramatic 27-metre pyramid ceiling in Canadian oak and is prized for its acoustics. It hosts orchestras, recitals, jazz and organ concerts, and the complex also contains a recital hall and the Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery.
