RAMEN MATSUI is a basement counter a few minutes from Shinjuku Gyoen that switched from queues to a fully reserved system: since July 2025 every seat is booked online in advance. The cooking is refined clear-soup ramen with a deep shoyu tare and carefully made toppings, and it earned a Bib Gourmand in the 2025 Michelin Guide Tokyo. The reservation system makes it one of the most predictable top-rated shops for visitors.
