About
The Fire Museum, run by the Tokyo Fire Department, occupies the Yotsuya Fire Station building and is free to enter. Its 10th-floor Disaster Prevention Lounge has windows facing west to the Shinjuku skyscrapers and, on clear days, Mt Fuji. It is the only floor where eating is allowed, and there are drink vending machines. The museum also has vintage fire engines, a helicopter and Edo-period firefighting exhibits.
