About

Founded in 1973, Chibo grew into an Osaka institution and its Dotonbori building is the flagship experience: several floors of teppan tables, attentive staff and an English menu, which makes it the easiest place to try okonomiyaki for the first time. The Dotonbori-yaki combines meat and seafood, while the modan-yaki adds yakisoba noodles inside. There is also a good selection of teppanyaki sides. It is busier and more tourist-oriented than the small specialists, but consistent and comfortable, and it handles groups and kids well.
