About

Toyosu is three huge blocks linked by walkways: Block 7 (Fisheries Wholesale), Block 6 (Intermediate Wholesale and most restaurants) and Block 5 (Fruit & Vegetables). The tuna auction runs roughly 5:30–6:30 most market days. Anyone can watch from the second-floor viewing windows in the Fisheries Wholesale Market Building from 5:00 with no reservation; the closer lower-floor observation deck is allocated by online lottery the month before (application window about a week, early in the previous month). Afterwards, queue at sushi counters like Sushi Dai or Daiwa Sushi, or eat at less crowded spots. Senkyaku Banrai, an Edo-style food and onsen complex, sits next door.
