Daiwa Sushi also moved from Tsukiji to Toyosu in 2018 and now operates in the market's Building 6 restaurant area. The omakase set of seven nigiri plus a roll, made from that morning's fish, is fast and exceptional: tuna, uni, ikura, anago and seasonal picks. Service is efficient rather than theatrical, and the queue usually moves faster than Sushi Dai's, which makes this the smart choice if you want market sushi without losing your whole morning.
