Tokyo's official information center on Busta Shinjuku's 3F, open 6:30–21:00 every day. The most service-packed of the official centers: ticket sales, currency exchange, baggage storage and delivery, plus wheelchair and stroller rental.

Set on the taxi and arrivals level (3F) of the Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal, directly beside JR Shinjuku's New South Exit, this branch of the official Tokyo Tourist Information Center is built for travellers coming off overnight and airport buses. Beyond multilingual sightseeing, route and accommodation help in Japanese, English, Chinese and Korean, it is the only official center offering ticket sales, currency exchange, and baggage storage and delivery together (the luggage service is handled by a separate Sagawa counter inside the same space). It also has an accessible-tourism counter, power outlets, PCs and free Wi-Fi, and lends wheelchairs and strollers. The early 6:30 opening makes it the best first stop if you arrive in Shinjuku before the city is awake.

• Follow signs for Busta Shinjuku 3F (taxi level) from the JR New South Exit; the center is on the same level as the taxi stand

• Highway bus tickets are sold on 4F; ask here first if you are unsure which bus counter you need
• Free Wi-Fi and power outlets make it a good place to wait out an early arrival
