About
Designed by Le Corbusier's student Kunio Maekawa, Tokyo Bunka Kaikan was Tokyo's main classical venue for decades and still hosts touring opera and ballet companies, the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra and recitals. The building faces the Le Corbusier-designed National Museum of Western Art across the plaza.
