Shinagawa Kumin Park is built around Katsushima no Umi, a large pond fed with seawater, and holds the Shinagawa Aquarium, an outdoor summer pool, a barbecue area, playgrounds and cherry-lined paths. It is a classic family day out in south Tokyo, and the aquarium is the main paid attraction. Park entry is free.
