A free rooftop garden on top of Shibuya Fukuras (Tokyu Plaza Shibuya) with a close-up view over the station tracks to Shibuya Scramble Square and the new skyline.
About
Ride the lifts to the top of Shibuya Fukuras, just south-west of Shibuya Station, and head to the railing on the station side. From here the frame looks across the JR tracks and the redeveloped station area to Shibuya Scramble Square, Shibuya Stream and the Shibuya Sakura Stage towers, with trains sliding through below. Sunset and blue hour are best, when the towers light up and the trains leave light trails at slow shutter speeds (handheld or rested on the railing). No tripods, and keep the bench areas clear for other visitors.
