Step out of the JR South Gate at Shibuya and this center is straight ahead. It covers the essentials for international visitors: Japan Rail Pass exchange and purchase, JR East area passes, basic fare and Shinkansen tickets, collection of JR-EAST Train Reservation bookings, tourist information for East Japan and Hokuriku, and maps of the Shibuya area. JR-EAST Free Wi-Fi is available and major credit cards are accepted. It is the most convenient place to sort out rail passes if you are staying in Shibuya rather than near Tokyo or Shinjuku stations.
