The observation tower stands at about 192 m elevation in the Rokudoyama area of Noyamakita-Rokudoyama Park, a large Tokyo Metropolitan park in the Sayama Hills. From its top there is a 360-degree view across western Tokyo and Saitama, and on clear days Mt Fuji, which is listed among the Kanto 'Fujimi 100 views'. Cherry trees surround the tower in late March and early April.
