About
The Sayama-Sakai Ryokudo follows the route of a water main that runs from Lake Tama toward Musashi-Sakai, creating a ruler-straight green corridor through the suburbs. Cherry trees line much of the way, making long tunnels of blossom in early April, followed by azaleas and hydrangeas. The path ends at the Lake Tama embankment, where Sayama Park continues the walk.
