Punch Room began at the London EDITION and the Tokyo outpost, opened with the Ginza hotel in 2024, quickly became one of the city's most talked-about rooms. It debuted at No. 36 on Asia's 50 Best Bars 2025 and climbed to No. 23 in 2026. The look is a members'-club fantasy of dark timber, low lamps and velvet, and the menu revolves around punch, the ancestor of the cocktail, reworked with shochu, sake, Japanese whisky, yuzu, tea and seasonal fruit. Order a bowl for two or more and it arrives in silver with a ladle and little cups; solo drinkers can order single serves and a short list of classics. It is a lively, sociable bar rather than a hushed Ginza counter, and the team is fluent in English.
