About

Itoya opened in Ginza in 1904 and rebuilt its flagship as G.Itoya in 2015, marked out on Chuo-dori by a giant red paper clip. The shopping floors run roughly from 1F to 8F, each with a theme: everyday writing and cards near the bottom, desk tools and pens, travel goods, home items, then a fine-paper floor with hundreds of papers sold by the sheet and a craft floor. Near the top, the 11F 'Farm' grows lettuce hydroponically for the salads at CAFE Stylo on 12F. Behind it, the K.Itoya annex holds fountain pens and premium writing instruments. It's a pilgrimage for planner fans and a great place for elegant, light-to-pack souvenirs.
