About
MENSHO is the home base of chef Tomoharu Shono, whose MENSHO shops in San Francisco and elsewhere turned modern Japanese ramen into an international story. The Gokokuji shop is bright and modern, with a seasonal menu built around carefully sourced ingredients: past bowls include chilled corn ramen topped with shaved sea urchin and wagyu with truffle. Expect inventive, refined and beautifully composed bowls rather than heavy classics. It is fully cashless and sits across the street from Gokokuji temple.
