About
The Hosokawa family ruled the Kumamoto domain, and the Eisei Bunko preserves their armour, swords, tea utensils, Zen paintings and documents, including National Treasures. Exhibitions change several times a year and fill the rooms of an early Showa-era office building. Higo Hosokawa Garden, the family's former garden, is directly below.
