About
Hinode Sanso was the country house of Prime Minister Nakasone Yasuhiro in the hills of Hinode. In November 1983 he received US President Ronald Reagan and Nancy Reagan here for the informal 'Ron-Yasu' summit, famously serving tea by an irori hearth. The house and grounds are preserved with photographs and memorabilia of the visit.
