About
Iimoriyama Castle was the base of Miyoshi Nagayoshi, who controlled Kyoto and the Kinai before Nobunaga. About 70 baileys and early stone walls cover the 314 m ridge between Daito and Shijonawate, and the summit gives a view across the Osaka plain. Continued 100 Fine Castles; national historic site.
