About

Tsurumi Ryokuchi covers about 120 hectares across Tsurumi Ward and was rebuilt as a park after the Flower Expo closed. Highlights include the Great Pond, a hill with views over the city, a windmill with seasonal flower fields beneath it, and gardens left behind by the countries that took part in the Expo. The Sakuya Konohana Kan greenhouse, a large botanical conservatory, sits inside the park. It is big enough that families bring bicycles and picnic gear and stay all day.
