About

The elevated Midosuji Line station at Shin-Osaka is a separate Osaka Metro station from the JR building. Outside the North Gate, near the elevator, there is a bank with small, medium and a couple of large units, and another small bank by Exit 7 off the South Gate. They are outside the gates and coin-operated, with newer units taking transit IC cards. Capacity is modest, so they suit backpacks and carry-on cases better than big suitcases.

Tips

• Check here before queueing at a full JR bank
• Large units are only a handful, so don't count on them for big suitcases
• Most lockers are cleared after 3 days and the contents go to the station lost-property office, so don't use them for multi-day storage
