JR Shin-Imamiya has lockers inside the West Gate and both inside and outside the East Gate, with private 24-hour banks around the Nankai side. Useful for Shinsekai and Tsutenkaku, and for the Nankai trains to KIX and Koyasan.

About

Shin-Imamiya is where the JR Osaka Loop Line crosses the Nankai Line (airport trains, and the line to Koyasan), on the edge of the Shinsekai district. JR lockers are by the East Gate (one bank outside, by the left side as you exit, one inside by the elevator) and inside the West Gate. Several small private 24-hour cash locker banks sit just outside the Nankai/West exit and by budget hotels nearby. Coverage of large units is limited, so this is best for daypacks before exploring Shinsekai, Tsutenkaku and Spa World.

Tips

• Use the outside-gate East Gate bank if you are heading into Shinsekai on foot
• If you need large units, Tennoji is one stop away
• Most lockers are cleared after 3 days and the contents go to the station lost-property office, so don't use them for multi-day storage
