About
Stand in the middle of the pedestrian street south of the tower and shoot north: oversized signboards, puffer-fish lanterns and kushikatsu shopfronts crowd both sides and lead the eye to Tsutenkaku, whose lit neck changes colour with the weather forecast at night. Blue hour gives the best balance between sky and neon. The area is busy day and night, so a slightly raised camera or a longer lens helps stack the signs.
Highlights
- Tsutenkaku framed by giant shop signs
