About
Yodo Castle was built in 1623 at the meeting of rivers south of Kyoto; its keep was moved from Fushimi Castle. The honmaru stone walls, keep base and moat survive in a small park beside Yodo Station and Yodo Shrine, attractive in cherry and wisteria season.
