About

The Daihiroba (Sky Garden, nicknamed 'Happy Terrace') is the rooftop of the Kyoto Station Building, reached by escalators or the 171-step Grand Staircase from the 4th floor. It is an open-air terrace with planting and benches, looking over central Kyoto and Kyoto Tower. Entry is free. The official site says it will close for construction from around late November 2026.
