About

Crosta Kyoto is the official hands-free travel counter at JR Kyoto Station, run by a JR West group company. It sits on B1 below the conventional-line Central Exit (Karasuma side), down the escalators toward the Porta underground mall, and handles two jobs. First, simple storage: staff tag each bag and keep it for a flat daily fee, with no size limit that a coin locker would impose, and multi-day storage is possible. Second, the carry service: hand over your suitcase in the morning and it is delivered to a participating hotel in Kyoto the same day, or sent between Kyoto Station and Osaka or Shin-Osaka. Many Kyoto hotels, from OMO to Cross Hotel, partner with Crosta, so you can go straight from the platform to Fushimi Inari or Kiyomizu-dera and meet your bag at check-in. On the way home the service works in reverse: leave the bag at your hotel and collect it at Crosta before your train.
