About

The Central Exit side is where the city bus terminal, Kyoto Tower and most hotels are, so its lockers are the busiest in Kyoto. Inside the station building on 1F, about 50 m left of the north Central Gate, is a large bank of roughly 115 small, 88 medium and 26 large units with a changer. Just outside, a bank of about 100 small IC-card lockers with multilingual screens stands to the right by the travel agency, and two more banks sit on either side of the bus terminal entrance, one of them down the escalator. All are outside the gates; JR West touch-screen units take ICOCA and other IC cards. The Hachijo (south) side has an even bigger locker hall, and pikuraku PORTER smart lockers by the Central Exit offer same-day hotel delivery.
