Amanohashidate Station is the main rail gateway to the sandbar and the starting point for buses to Kono Shrine, Kasamatsu Park and Ine. Direct limited express trains run from Kyoto. The Amanohashidate tourist information desk is in the terminal building next to the station. The south end of the sandbar and View Land are a short walk away.
