This sightseeing boat runs alongside the famous pine-covered sandbar of Amanohashidate, one of Japan's Three Scenic Views, connecting the Monju side near Amanohashidate Station with Ichinomiya at the north end (for Kasamatsu Park). The crossing takes about 12 minutes versus an hour on foot, and feeding the seagulls from the deck is a highlight.
