WAQOO Naritasanmonzen WAQOO 成田山門前
A 23-room boutique hotel on Omotesando opened in 2022 and themed on kabuki and the Ichikawa Danjuro family's bond with Naritasan, with creative kaiseki and a guided temple walk for guests.
About
The ties between Naritasan and the Ichikawa Danjuro kabuki dynasty run back three centuries, and WAQOO builds a whole hotel around them: the lobby and rooms display kabuki-related pieces including items connected to the Ichikawa family, and guests can join an exclusive guided walk around Naritasan's spots linked to the family and to good luck. Dinner is the hotel's own Waqoo kaiseki, a creative Japanese course rooted in Kyoto cuisine, and there is a public bath. With just 23 rooms a minute from Omotesando and three minutes from the temple, it is the most polished way to spend a night in Narita before or after a flight.
