Narita Tourist Pavilion (Narita Kankokan) 成田観光館
A free three-floor visitor centre halfway down Omotesando with a full-size Narita Gion Festival float on display, local history exhibits, Wi-Fi, toilets and English-speaking help.
About
Run by the Narita City Tourism Association, the Kankokan is part museum and part rest stop. The ground floor shows one of the towering, intricately carved festival floats that are pulled through town during the Narita Gion Festival every July, so you can see the craftsmanship up close even if you visit in winter. Upstairs, exhibits introduce Narita's history as a temple town, and the building also hosts occasional Japanese culture events. Staff can help in English, and it has free Wi-Fi and barrier-free facilities, making it the natural place to regroup between the station and the temple.
