About
Yakushido was built in 1655 as the main hall of Naritasan Shinshoji and is the oldest building of the temple, now standing beside Omotesando below the later, larger halls. Its compact Edo-period wooden structure, carved details and stone lanterns make a strong frame from the street, especially with the curving Omotesando and its eel restaurants behind. Visit early to shoot before the street fills with visitors.
Highlights
