About

teamLab Planets is designed for bodies, not just eyes: you remove your shoes at the entrance and walk through a sequence of large-scale installations, several of them in water. The highlights are the knee-deep pool where projected koi swirl around your legs and burst into flowers when they touch you, the Infinite Crystal Universe of hanging LED strands reflected endlessly in mirrors, and the dome where you lie back under blossoms that respond to your presence. A second area holds outdoor moss and floating-flower gardens, including a room of thousands of real orchids suspended from the ceiling that rises as you approach. Unlike Borderless, the route is linear, so it takes around 1.5 to 2 hours and is easy to follow. The museum has repeatedly extended its run and remains open in 2026.
