Taito Station Akihabara タイトーステーション 秋葉原店
A tall, all-floors Taito arcade on Chuo-dori: crane games stuffed with anime prizes, rhythm games, fighting-game cabinets and purikura photo booths. Since GiGO Building 1 closed in 2025, it's Akiba's go-to modern arcade.
About
Taito Station Akihabara stacks a classic Japanese game-centre experience floor by floor: ground and lower floors are UFO catchers loaded with figures and plush from current anime, upper floors cover music games (maimai, CHUNITHM, taiko), card-based games, medal games and fighting-game lines where locals play seriously. A purikura floor lets you make sticker photos with heavy beauty filters. With the closure of the famous GiGO Akihabara Building 1 on 31 August 2025, this is one of the most reliable big arcades on the main drag.
