Nagis Golden Gai flagship is up a steep staircase in one of the narrow alleys of Shinjukus famous bar district. The ramen is an intense niboshi soup made with many kinds of dried fish, served with a mix of thin noodles and wide, flat ichiban noodles. Open 24 hours, it is a classic late-night stop after drinks, and a small, cramped, very Tokyo experience.
