Run by the English-speaking owner Go, this six-seat dive is wall-to-wall posters, figures and VHS tapes, with two vintage horror films screening behind the counter and metal on the speakers. It is fun, friendly and unusually cheap for Golden Gai, with no table charge and drinks mostly priced at ¥666. A pilgrimage spot for horror and metal fans, and a great place to meet other travellers.
