About
Meijiza has operated in Hamacho since 1873 and celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2023. Its programme mixes kabuki, jidaigeki costume drama, singers' special shows and 2.5D stage adaptations. Bento boxes sold in the theatre are part of the experience and can be eaten in your seat during intermission.
