About
Managed by the Imperial Household Agency, the Musashi Imperial Graveyard holds the burial mounds of Emperor Taisho, Empress Teimei, Emperor Showa and Empress Kojun. A wide gravel approach lined with tall Kitayama cedars leads to each mound, creating a solemn, quiet atmosphere rarely seen by visitors. It is open daily during set hours.
