Named after the 599-metre height of Mt. Takao, this museum near Takaosanguchi Station introduces the mountain's unusually rich wildlife. The main hall has a wall of mounted animals and insects set against projection mapping, and a cafe and garden make it a good rest stop after the hike. Entry is free.
