About

Marunouchi House is a floor of restaurants and bars on the 7th floor of the Shin-Marunouchi Building, and the outdoor terrace that runs around it is open to everyone. From the station-facing side you look down at an angle onto the north dome and copper roofs of Tokyo Station, the plaza and Gyoko-dori, with the Yaesu towers behind. Because the terrace stays open later than most viewpoints, it is a favourite for night shots, and the higher angle shows the roofline and domes better than street level. Seats belong to the restaurants, but the railings are free to use.
