On your left as you exit the Marunouchi North Exit ticket gates, under the restored red-brick dome, this is the most comprehensive JR East center for international travellers. Staff handle Japan Rail Pass exchange and sales, JR East area passes (Tokyo Wide Pass, JR East Pass), basic fare and Shinkansen tickets, and collection of tickets booked via JR-EAST Train Reservation. It also offers foreign currency exchange in both directions, same-day temporary luggage storage, Tokyo maps and tourist information for East Japan and Hokuriku, free JR-EAST Wi-Fi and a prayer room (10:00–17:00). Major credit cards are accepted.

Tips
- Bring your passport: it is required for Japan Rail Pass and most tourist-pass purchases and exchanges
- Queues build in the morning when travellers start their pass; mid-afternoon is usually quicker
- Luggage storage is same-day only; for overnight storage use the station's lockers or baggage counters
- If you are on the Yaesu side, crossing to the Marunouchi North Exit takes about 5–10 minutes inside the station
