A giant chef's head with a tall toque on top of the Niimi tableware building, the landmark that marks the southern entrance of Kappabashi Kitchen Town.
About
Stand on the far side of the Asakusa-dori and Kappabashi-dori crossing and look up at the Niimi building on the corner: a huge, smiling chef's head in a white hat peers down over the traffic. A mid-length lens from across the junction fits the whole building with the chef on top; for a fun twist, line up the Skytree in the distance along Asakusa-dori. Daylight is best, as the head is not strongly lit at night. Shoot from the pavement and crossings only, and do not block shop entrances.
