About
JBS is a one-man temple of vinyl. Kobayashi-san's collection of around 11,000 LPs covers every wall of the small room, and he plays whole sides of jazz, blues and soul through a carefully tuned system while serving simple drinks. It has been featured in international music media as one of the definitive Tokyo listening bars, yet it remains relaxed: you can talk quietly, and there is no cover charge.
