About

Hinohara Tokyo Citizens' Forest sits high on Mt. Mito (1,531 m), on the Tokyo-Yamanashi border, and was set up so city residents could experience mountain forest. Trails range from the flat, wood-chipped 'Therapy Road' to the Mito Falls course and a full loop over the Mito summit through beech forest. The Forest Hall has exhibits, and there are woodworking and charcoal huts.
