About
Nakanos Heiwa no Mori ("forest of peace") Park opened on land once occupied by Nakano Prison, and was expanded and renovated in the 2010s. It now offers open lawns, a jogging course, sports facilities, playgrounds and a reconstructed prehistoric pit dwelling from finds on the site. It is a local favourite for exercise and family outings. Free.
