About

Built on former airport land beside Tenkubashi Station and fully opened in 2023, Haneda Innovation City mixes research offices with public spaces. The big draw for visitors is the free rooftop footbath and sky deck on Zone E, where you can soak your feet in warm water while jets land beyond Terminal 3, lit up after dark. Below are restaurants, a food hall, a Zepp live venue, a shrine-like lantern installation, and pilot projects such as autonomous shuttle buses and robots wandering the plazas. It is calm and rarely crowded, it sits just across the river from the old fishing district of Haneda and Anamori Inari Shrine, and it is ten minutes from Terminal 3 by train, so it slots into even a modest layover.
