With more than 1,500 rooms, the Villa Fontaine Grand is the workhorse hotel of Haneda's international side: you walk from the Terminal 3 arrivals lobby through Haneda Airport Garden to the lobby without going outdoors. Rooms range from compact doubles to Japanese-style tatami rooms for families, and the higher floors on the airfield side catch taxiing aircraft and a slice of runway. The big perk is the Izumi Tenku no Yu hot spring on the top floor, discounted for guests, plus the Garden's restaurants and 24-hour shops downstairs. It suits travellers with very early departures, late arrivals, or anyone who wants a soak and a proper bed before flying out of Japan. Its sister, Villa Fontaine Premier, is an all-suite upgrade in the same complex.
