About
Hiroyuki Sato made Sushi Tokami famous before opening Hakkoku on a third floor in Ginza 6-chome in 2018. The meal is almost entirely nigiri, around 25 pieces, built on red-vinegar shari blends adjusted to each topping, with superb tuna and a steady stream of seasonal pieces. It has long been among the highest-rated sushi counters on Tabelog and is a favourite with serious sushi travellers. Expect a lively counter with a chef who enjoys conversation.
