About

Toshikatsu Aoki took over the counter from his father, who trained at the legendary Nakata, and himself apprenticed at Kyobashi's Yoshino before returning. The result is Ginza Edomae with a gentle, refined character and real pedigree, held in a fourth-floor room in 6-chome. Lunch is served, the staff are used to overseas guests, and the shop also makes beautiful temari-zushi (little ball-shaped sushi) to take away as a gift or a hotel-room treat.
