About
The actual hull of the Daigo Fukuryu Maru fills this Tokyo Metropolitan exhibition hall, opened in 1976. Panels explain how the crew were exposed to fallout from the Castle Bravo test, the death of radio operator Kuboyama Aikichi, the tuna panic that followed and the anti-nuclear movement it sparked. The boat's engine and memorial stones stand outside.
